BEING A FAITHFUL SERVANT:
=============================
We all must examine ourselves and ask the question, are we being faithful to God’s Word? Or are we prostituting it, making it say something that you know people want to hear? Something they’ll be pleased with because we don’t want anybody to be mad at us. If we want to please the people more than we want to please God, then we’re going to say what they want to hear and in doing so, we prostitute God’s Word. And I’m not just talking about people in the five-fold ministry. I’m talking about ALL professing to be born again christian’s because individually, we’re to be witnesses for Jesus Christ to all people.

But when Eve started out repeating what God had said to her and Adam, she was right. She was faithful to God’s Word. Then, she added to it by stating that along with not being allowed to eat the forbidden fruit, they were told they couldn’t even touch it, lest they died. She prostituted God’s Word by adding ficticious details, declaring that He’d said something that He had not said. God had plainly and simply said, “But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, you shall not eat of it: For in the day that you eat thereof, you shall surely die”( Gen. 2:17). Meaning, they would die spiritually.

Satan had come along and deceived her. He’d been influencial by showing her how to twist God‘s Word, and she‘d picked up on it quickly. This says, we’ve got to be careful of what voice we’re giving ear to who tells us something different than what God has originally said. But before Satan entered the Garden, Eve already had God’s correct word. We also have His correct Word written down in the Bible.

And if you’re in doubt over something thats been told to you as truth, go to the Bible and see for yourself exactly what God has to say about it. Go to Him in prayer and say, “God, somebody has said this and that about your word but I’m not exactly sure if it‘s true. What did you say? I want to know and make sure of your words before I repeat it to someone else.” Eve could’ve done this same thing. If she had, just think of the trouble it could’ve saved her.

But many times, we’re slow to go to God and ask Him to clarify His Word to us. Instead, we’re quick to repeat what we’ve heard or what we’ve presumed ourselves and a lot of times, God didn’t say what we think He did. Many times, we did hear His words correctly but on the chance that we didn’t, it’s always good and a safe-guard to pray and ask God for clarification and confirmation before you speak for Him. And if it’s truly what God has said, He’ll confirm it. He won’t confirm your word, but He will always confirm His Word. Amen. Yes, He will.

The Lord said that, “many of His leaders in ministry are not leading His people to true worship of Him. They’re more concerned with their titles and positions. They’re more concerned with how many people are following them instead of how many people are following Jesus.” Jesus said often, “Follow Me.” Not follow man and worship him. Give honor to whom honor is due, He said. But we’re not to follow them in worship as though they’re some god.

Remember how people ran after Elvis Presley when he came on the scene in the fifties? Remember how people of all ages worshiped him as if he were a god? Thus, he was given the title, “King of Rock n’ Roll.” I don’t know of but ONE King thats worthy to be called God, and thats the King of glory, Jesus Christ. King of Kings and Lord of Lord’s! And He is the Rock upon which we build as living stones---standing in faith and knowing that our names are on His heavenly Roll.

Therefore, Jesus is King and the Rock and He has the Roll with our names on it, given to Him by the Father. Hallelujah! Then, in the seventies, people turned to a man called Jim Jones and were deceived to think of him as a god and they gave their worship to him. In the end, it cost them their lives. Are you hearing what I’m saying to you? We give honor to whom honor is due, like Jesus said in His Word, but we worship the Lord our God and him alone do we worship.

The also Lord said, “In the midst of the congregation, I’ve been rebuked when My people have thought that I’ve been the wrong spirit. I only come where I’m invited and I’ve been trying to come into their midst and empower them for true worship by My Spirit.” (this is when the glory comes to settle over the gathering and miracles occur).

I was reminded of the time when Jesus told Peter and the disciples to go to the other side. He had gone up on a mountain to pray. In the meantime, a storm came up as the disciples were crossing the sea of Galilee and they were faced with much difficulty in getting to the other side. In the fourth watch, Jesus came walking on the water toward them and at seeing Him, they became frightened and declared that it was a spirit coming toward them. They thought Jesus was a ghost, a demonic spirit instead of the Lord Himself. It had only been a few short hours earlier that they’d been with Jesus, and had seen Him retreat to go to the mountain to pray.

They had been with Him all day as He taught the Word of God to multitudes of people. They’d seen Him heal sick bodies and cast out demons. They’d been in His presence all day and every day even before that. But now, they couldn’t discern the presence of the Lord Jesus who was coming straight toward them. They could call out to Him and invite Him to come into their boat (their congregation), or they could rebuke Him as a demonic spirit and reject His presence, thereby missing their hour of visitation. They could tell Him to go away from them because they presumed Him to be something other than Who He was.

This plainly says, that the discernment of the Church is hardly where it should be. If we can’t even discern the presence of the Lord without mistaking Him for a demonic spirit, how can we effectively discern the spirit of Satan in our midst? But more times than one, when we discern wrongly, we end up rebuking Jesus and running His Holy Spirit out of our midst while we go on to have church! Why is this? Because we’ve become so soft and we fear the Lord coming into our midst. When He brings a testing of our faith upon us to purify us and draw us into more pure worship of Him, we panic.

We immediately want to discern that it must be a demonic spirit trying to cause disruption. So we begin crying out, “This can’t be God! He’s a blessing God. He wouldn’t dare make us uncomfortable like this and cause us go through firy trials!” Ask the Israelites how often they had to go through God’s testings and corrections because they prostituted themselves with other god’s? From what I read, there didn’t seem to be any confusion among the children of Israel when God dealt with them in correction or blessing. They knew, but we seem to have a problem with that a lot of times.

But through the years the mentality of the Church has become, God is just a ‘blessing‘ God. That He’s some sort of “Spiritual Sugar Daddy” Who just wants to spoil us with things and more things and Who never corrects us when we rebell and sin against Him. We tend to think that He wouldn’t dare make us give up our many comforts and have to suffer a little. Not when He loves us so much.

Well, lets see what God has to say about it. 1 John 3, “Beloved, I wish above all things that you may be in health, even as your soul prospers.” It’s for sure, God wants to bless us. He desires for His children to prosper in all areas of our life. Lets see what else He says, 1 Peter 5:10, “But the God of all grace, who has called us unto His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, AFTER THAT YOU HAVE SUFFERED A WHILE, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen , settle you.” And in Proverbs 3:11-12, “My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord; neither be weary of His correction. 12-for whom the Lord loves He corrects, even as a father the son in whom He delights.” God’s children are a joy to Him. We are the delight of His heart.

But there will be times of testing and suffering. There will be times of conflict and being tried in the fire. All to burn off impurities of sin, bringing us through as pure gold and fit vessels for the Master‘s use in His Kingdom. It’s all done to bring us into the glory of God, whereby we worship Him as ‘son’s’ out of pure hearts just because He‘s, I AM. In light of that, I ask you, how are you ever going to become pure and glorious, fit for use if you never go through the fire first?

Being put through the fire in the natural is how gold is tested for its purity. If a jeweler puts his gold through the fire to remove the dross of impurities so it will come out pure, what makes you think that God will do any less with His people? And so comes the big question, does God allow us to go through these trials to be mean to us? Do the testings of our faith come because He hates us? Absolutely not! Thats a lie straight out of the pit of hell if I ever heard one.

God IS a blessing God. He IS a merciful God. He IS a God who extends grace to the humble, but don’t forget, He resists the proud (James 4:6). God is a God of love. 1 John 4:8 says, “God is love.” And there has been and there is purpose to us seeing more clearly that God is a ‘blessing God.’ It’s all geared toward the end time transference of wealth from out of the hands of the wicked and into the hands of God’s faithful stewards.

It’s to be used for Kingdom purposes in preaching the gospel all around the world to every creature. This move of the Spirit has come to change our old mind sets of poverty to prosperity thinking. It’s come to break that spirit of poverty off of God’s people so we can receive and then be a distribution channel to give liberally to those in need. So, there has been purpose, but any genuine move of God, Satan is going to try and pervert it. He’ll always try to move it into the extremes, while God is trying to help us to stay balanced in it and connected with His purposes. Do you see what I’m saying?

So, yes, we must see that God is a blessing God, and also that even His judgments that come are His mercy. His grace and His mercy is His love. John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world (people) that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever would believe in Him, should not perish but have everlasting life.” God cannot be motivated by anything but love. So, when He chastens us, it’s BECAUSE He loves us. He can see things we can’t see that would cause us great harm on down the road if He allows us to continue in some unconfessed sin.

In Romans 11:22, we’re told that we must know God in both His goodness and His severity. We’re also told that while God is a blessing God, full of loving kindness and mercy, He’s also a consuming fire. And in that is balance to not only God’s Word but to God Himself, Who is both goodness and severity. We’ve majored on His goodness, while forgetting His severity where sin and rebellion is concerned. We’ve majored on His goodness while forgetting that God is a consuming fire that does bring judgment on sin.

People who keep holding onto the sin being judged, unfortunately they do get caught up in that judgment and they either perish or go through horrible destruction. It’s proven throughout the Bible’s history that when God had to judge sin, people lost their lives. This was so because people ignored God’s warning and His extended mercy. They stubbornly refused to repent and turn from the sin and come back to God. Their refusal meant the sin that God was warning them about, the sins that His judgment was coming on, continued---’business as usual.’

We, the people of the United States of America, who profess to be God’s people, have done no different. God doesn’t expect the world to be any different until the gospel of Jesus Christ is presented to them and they’re saved. But He does require His people, who are called by His name to be different. In fact, He said, we’re a “peculiar people” and we’re not to be conformed to the world but conformed to the image of Jesus Christ.

We’re a set apart people unto Him. A people who are set apart to be holy as He is holy. Not to be as hellish as the world and still call ourselves Christian’s. We dishonor the name and the blood of Jesus when we continue “business as usual” and ignor His calls to come and repent of sin. To be cleansed from all unrighteousness and be restored to full blessings.

The Lord also said to me, “I’ve stood at the door and I’ve been waiting for My people to invite Me to come into their midst. To invite Me to come into the Church and be the Head and them be the body.” He said, “many are trying to build. They think they’re building the house of the Lord. They think they’re building the Kingdom.” He said, “Unless the LORD builds the house, they labor in vain that build it (Psalm 127:1).”

He said, “I’m the Master Builder, and I’ve been waiting for My people to come into partnership with Me. To get their directives from Me, instead of out of their own reasoning. To allow Me to impart in their spirit’s My plans and My blueprints for My Kingdom.” He said, “After all, it is My Kingdom. But,” He said, “a lot of My leaders and ministers tend to think sometimes that the Kingdom belongs to them.”

This is where the light of the ‘false glory’ blinds their eyes (satan comes as an angel of light. Also 2 Cor.4:4-6-“For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ”). The true light of My glory opens the eyes of your understanding and you’re able to see clearly who works for who. In My Kingdom, there is no confusion but rather there is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost (Romans 14:17).”

The Lord said, “I send people forth equipped to carry out My purposes and plans for the establishing of My Kingdom in the earth. But they’ve got to get in My face, they’ve got to get with Me, they’ve got to listen to Me and tune everything else out. They’ve got to drop their titles--drop who they are positionally in this world. Who they are with Me is more important.”

He said, “It doesn’t matter what the people think of them. It matters what I think of them. Therefore, they’ve got to get in My face. They’ve got to get before Me in humility, dropping all pride because they’re nothing without Me. I Am the one who made them who and what they are, and it will be Me who takes them where they need to go. It will be Me who determines how high they are to go in My Kingdom.”

He stressed yet again, “They’ve got to get My plans and My strategies for success. If they don’t, then their kingdom will fall.” He said, “With or without you, My Kingdom will stand forever. My purposes will be accomplished here in the earth, but I came to partner with man.”He said, “I came into this earth realm because I wanted to have partners.

I wanted to have fellowship with man so I made covenant with a man called Abraham. But before Abraham was, I AM, and it’s with Me that I ask My people to go into partnership with. I long to have My people come and fellowship with Me. To spend time with me. To want Me. To come and have no agenda. To have nothing on your minds except ’Me’ and a desire to come into My presence and spend time with Me.”


How many of us are guilty of going to God with our lists crying out, “Gimme, gimme. My name’s Jimmy, I’ll take all you’ll gimme.” We’re ALL guilty! Jesus wants us to come and sit at His feet like Mary did, going after the good part. Giving Him worship from out of the depths of our hearts. Just sitting quietly and enjoying His presence. Not being concerned with the time, or whats going on around you, but just abandoning yourself to the worship of Jesus and the fellowship with Him. Heb. 11:6 says, “But without faith, it is impossible to please Him: for he that comes to God must believe that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.”

What glorious rewards await you when you go after God in faith with all your heart. Why? Because God can’t help Himself. He loves to give good gifts to His children. But He wants us to want and desire Him above the ‘things.’ “Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you” (Matthew 6:33). And in order to get into the Kingdom, you have to first encounter the King, who is, King Jesus and receive the free gift of salvation. You come into the Kingdom of God through the new birth.
