IN DAWN’S LIGHT

I walked through the dawn , Oblivious to the light
Caught up in frustration, desperation and sorrow.
Blaming others for my loneliness,
my isolation my complications.
Choosing to stay in the darkness,
a victim; abused and used, asking why.

WHY; when I gave so much of myself
I felt abandoned ,
WHY, LORD WHY;
when I love you so much
Your children chose to
judge, ridicule and reject me.

ALAS CAME THE WORDS - WHAT?
GOD above all others knows the why
we are given the set of challenges - each endures,
he wants to Know your WHAT.
What are you doing with the gifts GOD GAVE YOU?

When are you going to allow yourself to feel God’s love?

A simple question asked when darkness engulfed my heart.
What can I do my lord? .
I knew at once it was not the I but the thy
In front of me a light so bright illuminated from a sky of clouds.
I knew in an instant my purpose and my life restored.

and alas strength regained once more.
