When the Spirit of Christ is in you,
You need not someone tell you,
For your words & actions will manifest
Whom you are.

You will always hunger for righteousness
And aspire after holiness.
Your food will be to please God
Who gives you grace to do so.

When the Spirit of Christ is in you
You will see yourself as rotten
In the old life you once lived
You will not dare go back to old life

All those things that pop your head high
You will see as nothing
Because of the new life that is in you
You will count them as rubbish.

Your constant aim is to be closer to God
And to learn from him,
You will desire to hear from him,
And to obey him.

The desire to save lost souls will keep you restless
Until you bring them to the Almighty God
Who had mercy on you
And He will also have mercy on them

When the Spirit of Christ is in you,
You will delight in obeying God
Your joy will be in leading lost souls to Him
For you are saved to save others!!
