Jesus wept as He viewed Jerusalem;
They did not know the One who was their peace;
He came to His own; He walked among them;
The city's devastation He foresees;
Not a stone will be left upon a stone,
Their temple will be levelled to the ground,
The people will be taken from their home,
Dispersed to the nations---to bondage bound.

The Romans fulfilled it to the letter;
Jacob's sons were sold throughout all the world.
But He who scatters will one day regather,
They will return according to His Word:
To the Mount of Olives, Jesus Christ will come;
They will look on Him who was pierced for them,
And mourn for Him as for an only son:
A fountain is opened to cleanse their sin.

Can you see the birth-pangs of fulfillment,
The lost nation returning to its base,
The gathering storm of discontentment,
Signs of the times, all falling into place?
The prophetic Word of God's unfailing;
Everything will happen just as He says;
Before our eyes the future's unveiling;
The wise can see, we're in the latter days!!

Be on guard lest anyone deceive you,
Though they might claim to speak in Jesus' name;
God's inspired Word alone, you should cleave to;
His Word and Spirit always say the same!!
Love the truth and you'll not be deluded,
Looking up as you see these things begin:
Our Redemption comes!! Are you included??
Shout Jerusalem!! Hosanna to your King!!
