I suddenly found myself standing at Heaven's Pearly gate,
I was very anxious to find out my final fate.
I saw an angel standing nearby, I looked at her and I said with a cry.
I said "Oh! beautiful angel, please I must know,
of my final destination, where will I go?,
But before you must answer, please let me tell, I've lived my life well.
I've kept all the commandments, and given to the poor,
I've always been a good person, please open the door.
Is my name in that book?, please open it and take a look."
The angel opened up the book and for my name she looked,
but she could not find my name in God's holy book.
She looked at me sadly and as she shook her head,
a fear built up inside me, an awful kind of dread.
"I don't understand", I cried, in God I do believe,
she said in a soft whisper, "but Jesus you did not receive".
You can only come to the Father through his Son, that should have been your belief.
You should have asked him into your heart, well, then I fell into grief.
So I'll receive him right now, was my desperate plea,
it's too late now she said sadly, and she turned to leave.
Then suddenly it got quite dark, and I started to shake,
"PLEASE! HELP ME!" I cried, there must be a mistake.
"I don't deserve it I did yell, as I fell into the pits of Hell.
Please don't let this be your story, don't let it become your fate,
ask Jesus into your heart now, please don't ever wait.
You may think that you have plenty of time, but you can never tell.
Please choose to spend eternity in Heaven, not eternity in Hell.
