The innocence of a child. This is how we are to approach God. Mark 10:15 says, “Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.”
Children are so sweet, so innocent and so humble. Their hearts have not yet become hard and accustomed to the ways of the world.
When a child is in kindergarten, it is very important to them to be the “Line Leader”. To them, this is a great responsibility. As they stand at the front of the line, they feel very important.
Everyone has heard the saying “out of the mouths of babes”. One day I was driving down the road. My six-year-old daughter, who was sitting in the backseat, out the clear blue said, “Mommy, is God the line leader?”
Wow! What a lesson there is in that one innocent statement by a child. Although she was so young, she already was wondering if God was suppose to be the line leader in her life.
To be the line leader means that God should be number one in our lives. Who is the line leader in your life? When God is put first, miracles can happen.
Matthew 18:4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
