Out of the Darkness
There are times I feel so down
The darkness closing in all around
Like I want to lay down and die
Why oh why God, do you not hear my cry
Plunged into the depths of despair
Feeling like nobody cares
My soul longs for you to draw me near
Hold me close calm my fear
Then to You I turn my gaze
As I lift my hands in praise
Remembering times past
Your right hand held me fast
Then You whisper in my ear
My child I am right here
I will never leave you alone
No matter where you may roam

Good poem. All of us go through the 'dark' times, but HE is always there. Many will identify with these words. Thank you for sharing. GOD BLESS YOU
