Mini Challenge #3: The A to Z Challenge
Adam: Hunter Extraordinaire
Adam was full, having dined on the food he had brought home.
Bored as usual, Eve still felt hungry, although she had been eating steadily all day.
“Could you please get some more food,” she asked
“Do I look like a hunter to you?” he asked as peered at his reflection in the pond.
“Every time I try to run, these skins get in the way,” Adam complained.
“Funny, is it?” he muttered, as Eve reclined on her chair, laughing.
“Good thing we don’t have to worry about fashion,” she managed to spout.
“Honestly, You are annoying!” Adam exploded, as he stomped off.
“I still love you,” Eve called amidst her giggles, as he disappeared from sight.
'Jackrabbits, that’s what I want to find,' Adam thought to himself.
Keeping to the shadows on the edge of the meadow, he squatted down.
Looking unconcerned were some deer and jackrabbits, grazing and resting in the sun.
Moving slowly, Adam crawled his way towards the rabbits, hindered briefly by the skins.
None of the animals seemed to notice as he moved in on his prey.
Once spotted, he knew there would be no chance as all the animals would run.
'Perhaps,' he thought, 'just this once, it will only take one arrow.'
Quietly, he moved his hand to the quiver of arrows.
Removing one, he slowly placed it on the bow.
Silently he got into position, as close as possible to the jackrabbits.
Three of the jackrabbits stopped eating, their ears twitching.
Unwilling to take the chance of losing the shot, Adam released the arrow, but missed.
Vying for a better shot he hastily moved forward, bow and arrow ready.
Would he be able pull it off, as the deer and jackrabbits started to run?
Extreme determination took over as he quickly aimed again and let the arrow fly.
YES! He jumped up as the arrow met its mark and a jackrabbit dropped to the grass.
Zigzagging, the other animals disappeared. Adam did not care. He had what he came for.

VERY cute and creative story! Loved your original words, too...
Haa Haa Haa, fun story Vicky. I think Eve needs to take up the hem on Adam's skins though. Very cleverly done. Good job.
I thoroughly enjoyed your cool mini-story! I think you had fun writing this. (We both had "jackrabbits" for "J". :) )
Delightful, and very well-done.
Great story. Funny dialogue, plot, action, alphabet. What's not to like? Superb!
Rabbit season! I love this rendition of a hunting day in Adam and Eve's life.

A cool and creative look at the challenge...great job!
Very cute! I liked that those skins kept getting in the way--if only they'd not eaten from that tree!
Very clever! I love the conversation between Adam and Eve.
