Have we forgotten or did we ever know,
The awesome power of the One who loves us so?
Have we forgotten or did we never hear,
His words of love though He spoke them loud and clear?
After all that He has done for me and you,
After all the times that He has pulled us through,
Will we turn our faces away from the Son?
Is He forgotten?

Have we forgotten or do we even care,
The nights He spent down on His knees in prayer?
Have we forgotten what He did upon the cross,
When He took our sins and counted all else loss?
After all the time He spent in agony,
After giving everything to set us free,
Will we still ignore God’s precious Son?
Is He forgotten?

Have we forgotten or did we never see,
His terrible passion as He died for you and me?
Have we forgotten He is coming back one day,
To save His children and take them all away?
After all of the promises He made,
After triumphing over even the grave,
Will we fail to thank Him for all He has done?
Is He forgotten?

Have we forgotten He is the King of Kings,
And come before Him with such little gifts to bring?
Have we forgotten He is the Lord of Lords,
And fail to seek Him and trust upon His word?
After all that our Savior has done,
All the battles He alone has won,
Will we continue to reject the living One?
Is He forgotten?
