Remember that Christ is kind,
And is why to keep in mind;
Of what He had done for you,
So look at His point of view.

You must let Him make you strong,
Endurance for to prolong;
Trials and tribulations,
And resisting temptations.

You have heard me often teach,
In poetry that I preach;
As with Christ suffer the loss,
While you pick up your cross.

More than as a messenger,
I am also a soldier;
On duty and standing guard,
While Satan tries so hard.

But living by faith endures,
The enticements and the lures;
For knowing that someday soon,
Singing a heavenly tune.
