Why should I forgive? Just Why?

It was a beautiful morning,
My spirits were soaring high…
I was truly happy and joyful…and then she came along
She smiled at me the warmest smile…
I thought she meant well and then she said something
It really broke my heart…it deeply hurt, the wound was deep
I walked away with a heavy heart…she was my best friend…no this cant be
Dear Lord I will never forgive her…
How can she destroy my beautiful day in just a word…
I cannot love her nor will I forgive…
I kept murmuring to my Savior when I suddenly felt a blow
A blow with Fatherly love….
Dear child He said…when I the Ruler of Heaven and Earth,
Can love a fallen sinner; die for her, love her forever
Prepare eternity for her…forget her faults and mistakes
Is it so difficult for her to just FORGIVE?!!!!!!!!!
