time is winding thin
different continents wait
with baited breath anticipate.

Though no one knows the future
worldly wise men feature
suggestions of bloody gloom
all they see is earthly doom.

Those who choose to believe in grief
stand steadfast in their belief
Christ died to bring everlasting life
an end to war and deadly strife

Christians everywhere rejoice
as Christ's coming inches near
No fear of loss and death
we're loaned our every breath.
