I consider it a privilege and a blessing to be alive at such a time in history as now. The world has changed in so many wonderful ways that someone who was born around the middle of the last century would be amazed at the advances in science and technology which have given us the lifestyle that many, especially in developed countries, now take for granted. With all this advancement, one thing that at first glance appears ironical is that there has never such unhappiness as is so rampant these days, at least that’s the way it looks to me. In the midst of affluence and comfort people commit suicide, become addicted to drugs and alcohol and live in abusive relationships. Why on earth would a celebrity who millions wish they could be like take his own life; why would a millionaire with a successful company steal from the company he founded when he apparently doesn’t need the money? The answer is quite simple really and it’s this: there’s more to life than the obvious.

As much as professed atheists and humanists would like to disagree with me, I maintain that everything is first of all spiritual and then physical or material if you will. People do things because of who they are at their core and who they are at their core is a function of who they have yielded their lives to, spiritually speaking, and yield you must. In this matter there’s no middle ground: you either yield to the devil or you yield to God. The thing is, whereas you can’t yield to God and not know it; you could very well yield to the devil and not know it. In fact, that, in my opinion, is one of the saddest things about atheism in particular. Atheists not only deny the existence of God but also the existence of the devil. But guess what, you can deny all you want that the earth is round, you can even write books about it, probably even get a doctorate by “researching” about it. While you’re doing all this, the earth will still be round. So I really don’t have a problem with people who deny the existence of God, I just feel sorry for them because they expend so much time and energy denying the obvious to their own hurt.

I don’t consider atheists stupid or unintelligent; on the contrary they’re usually very bright people such as business people, professors and successful people in different fields. What I find amazing however is the fact that their arguments are usually very shallow and illogical and the conclusions they draw do not follow from their premises. For example, they say since no one has ever seen God He couldn’t possibly exist. That’s just about as intelligent as saying that just because you’ve not been to New York it doesn’t exist. But the fact is before I ever knew there was a place called New York it was there. If I lived my whole life and never knew the place it would still be there, and by the way it is home to lots of people and I can assure you that for them it exists! So if someone said he didn’t know God that would be understandable, but to say that because you don’t know Him He doesn’t exist is totally unreasonable.

Well, these are just some of the thoughts that I wanted to share with whoever would read this. I only wish atheists, evolutionists and the like would be more objective and yes, scientific in their reasoning. Then they’d see that God indeed exists, that He created the whole universe and best of all, that He loves them and seeks to have a Father- child relationship with them. That’s really all I’ve been trying to say.
