Jesus is the Lamb that was slain.
He came to take the sin, sorrow and pain.
They hung Him high upon a tree.
For everyone past & future, including you & me.

At the right hand of God, he sits in authority.
Interceding for all of us so fairly and lovingly
When we come to Him and ask for forgiveness.
He forgives us and our sins go into the sea of forgetfulness.

Whenever we seek Him and we kneel and pray,
He is listening to us, each minute of every day.
His ear is never closed; His eyes are never off us,
When he sees a sparrow fall, do you think He does not notice?

When we need a loving arm or we are in need of grace
He is always there by our side with a comforting embrace
He knows so dearly the pain we feel and the tears that we cry
And feels each moment with us, as they slowly pass by

We can never know total freedom, unless we begin
To put all our trust, hope and total dependence upon Him
He knows what is best for us and wants to bless us more
So we have got to let Him in when we hear Him knocking on our door

If we had a thousand years to express, what He means to us
We would run out of words and time and could never say enough

For He is the king of kings, and is the Lord of Lords
More valuable than diamonds or anything we could afford
He is the lily of the valley, the fairest of 10,000
The world and entire universe, is in the palm of His hand

His name is Wonderful, Counselor; He is the giver of Grace
You will bow and cry holy when you look into His face
He is the Righteousness of God and the Prince of peace
The praise of angels & saints in heaven will never cease

He is the worthy Lamb of God, the Bright Morning Star
He is Jesus the Name above all names, both here, near and far
He is the only Son of the living God, before him all will fall
Because He is our Refuge, Saviour, Redeemer and the LORD of ALL!!
