CYCLE OF DRY BONES

Neither night fall nor Sabbath
Doth quell the extremist fire
Orchestrate, facilitate
Birth pangs of prophetic dire

Brandish unrestrained warring
Impious venting of spleens
Martyred untold innocents
Ezekiel foretold the screams

Bloodbaths scatter like sparrows
Malaise as the crows show up
Not bread from life eternal
Corking new wine from His cup

So thirsty as a nation
Gnashing teeth akin to greed
Lamenting black religion
Sowing the lake of fire’s seed

Abusing texts predetermined;
Preordained Isaacs aged soul
Hate banes the capacity
Revanche one hundred fold

Excel certain destiny
Ultra sensitive to time
The lust of forty virgins
Is heretic not Divine

The past is the hereafter
As transgressors die exposed
Can Love bridge the breach forward
Unearth cycles of dry bones

His word foretells deceiving
Store not spoils lest they rust
In dividing faith from flesh
Bequeath diamonds to the dust

The seven sons of Sceva
Amidst the seven churches famed
It’s not a matter of if
But when you’ll behold His name.
