These fiery trials that plague you,
Are no cause for alarm.
Count it joy and endure,
Although they cause you harm.

It's when we hurt and cry within,
That God knows best the heart.
The gentle way He breaks to mend,
Shattered dreams which tear us apart.

These firey trials fashion and mold,
The character of His will.
Gold He promises when purged anew,
The person His Son can fulfill.

These fiery trials that plague you,
Will bring an end to strife,
And once you have endured the pain,
His love shed abroad brings life.
