Dare to Walk Alone!

Dare to walk alone!
Lonely is the path of truth
Few ever chose and walk therein
But they are never alone

Dare to walk alone!
Majority are not always right
Though lies unite multitudes of men
The bond will never last

Dare to walk alone!
The path may be dark and rough
Yet the Lord bids us to come
That rest for our souls we may find

Dare to walk alone!
Lonely is the decision that lifts
It is better to stand alone
Than rot in the midst of the crowd

Dare to walk alone!
Popular paths men may choose
But endless bliss they often lose
‘Cause they hate the lonely path

Dare to walk alone!
Whether men praise or scorn
Quit not the path of truth
That leads to eternal life and crown

Dare to walk alone!
God’s ways are not our ways
But His ways still are the best
He will forsake not His own

Dare to walk alone!
Alone, you shall stand at the end
No brother, mate or friend
To plead your case at His throne
