FAITH IS THE ANSWER

‘With God nothing shall be impossible and to him who believes all things are possible’

Faith is the powerful force that rules the heavens. Faith is the only language that God understands. Heaven may not respond to your weeping, crying, sighing and groaning, but heaven will surely respond to your FAITH. Nothing on earth can compel God, but faith does! Usually, God does not place barriers or limitations around the life of anyone, what determines how high you will rise and how far you will go in life is you!

Faith responds to God and God responds to faith. Faith is more than knowing that God can do something, faith is agreeing with and aligning your thoughts, actions and life with the unfailing word of God without any alternative whatsoever.

Faith is not of the future, faith is of ‘now’. Faith does not say ‘I will have it’, it says “I have it”; faith does not say ‘it will be well’, faith says “it is well”. In our walk with God, there is no way we can survive without faith. Faith brings the future into the present and concludes it! The assurance given by faith is of ‘now’. This implies that the excitement and fulfillment that you hope to derive from having what you desire, is brought to you now and you start rejoicing and celebrating as though you had already gotten your desire. The problem with most of us is that we want to see what we want first before we commence celebration. But that is not faith. For instance, Abraham had no child at all when God named him ‘the father of many nations’. Immediately God made this proclamation, Abraham saw it and embraced it. He began to act, think, plan and behave like a father. The case is not different with you; God says that you are a father and mother of children. You are not barren, so embrace your children, your celebration is now. God says that you are not a sickler, for by His stripes you were healed.

Faith does not have anything to do with your mind -that is your senses- faith is of the heart [the inner man]. Your head [senses] may be full of doubts and conflicts, that is not unusual, but if you believe with your heart, you will have whatever you desire of God. To operate in faith, you must learn not to obey or listen to your senses! You’ve got to fill your heart with the assurance of God’s word and act without questioning or reasoning. Faith is simple obedience to God’s word, even when it is not sensible to human reasoning. That is the reason why you appear crazy to people when you act in faith.

Faith and confession go together. The power of confession cannot be measured. It is not enough to have faith in your heart, you must say it out. In fact, it is the ‘saying’ aspect of faith that gives power to it. You must confess what you’ve agreed to in your heart. The more you confess, the deeper your assurance becomes.

Faith is action. It must be demonstrated. If you claim to have faith, then you must show it by your actions. Faith that is not demonstrated is no faith at all, it wouldn’t bring any result. For instance, if you believe that God has healed you of a particular sickness or ailment, you must begin to act as though the sickness has never afflicted you. This seems to be difficult but, once this slim line is crossed, nothing can deny you of your desire.

In faith there are no alternatives. When you begin to have alternative plans in your heart while you claim to believe God for something in particular, you are of doubtful mind, you will not receive what you desire. Faith gets you totally committed to God’s word about your life without any alternative or ‘Plan B’ as we often describe it.

Dearly beloved, without faith it is impossible to please God. Faith is pivotal to our victory in life as believers. That is why we must make up our hearts to grow in faith daily. The exploits of faith cannot be measured; nobody can predict your life if you operate in faith. This is because faith brings you to the realm of God! The scripture says ‘With God nothing shall be impossible and to him who believes, ALL THINGS are possible. You can be whatever, you want to be.
