Marriage

I ran away within my mind because the weather was cold to a distant shore with breezes warm, of which I had been told.

There was a mist surrounding me with a pink cloud so I couldn't see but a short way, but it was all right I knew I was where I was supposed to be.

In the silence I could hear the tiny waves lapping at my feet wrapped in that cloud, I heard their song and oh, the melody was so sweet.

I sat down on the soft billows of sand, letting God's peace wash over me and be reminded yet again that His love would sustain me.

Then tiny birds began to appear their wings gently brushes by my face, and with each touch, I recounted the blessings, hat God has put into place.

Then I rose with the birds and danced in the sand, for in the joy that filled me, I knew, it was because I saw someone walking down the shore, I saw love, for I saw it was you.

Then I realized this wasn't a dream, I hadn't thought it up, it was true, for God gave me rest, so I could see through His eyes, the wonder I have because I love you!

This joy is mine every single day, I could not wish for anything more, for I have been given the best gift of all, I have you, the husband I adore!
