Poetry
Tears, The pain, and Your Blood,
Spilled down Your Precious Face.
You gave The Gift of Life,
To Save the Human Race.
Who am I that caused You to suffer,
The very essence of You to set me free?
Of all the things that I could have been,
And instead, You created Me.
I have nothing much to offer You,
In return for Your sweet gift of Love.
All I have is the life that You gave me,
But I feel that’s not enough.
I’ve made so many bad choices,
And yet, You never cease to forgive.
All my bad deeds, You forgot,
And in You, I learned how to live.
You eased my breaking heart,
Made my pain Your very own.
I cast my burdens upon You, Lord,
And in You, I have grown.
Every day, I am becoming more like You,
The Woman I was born to be.
The Greatest Gift You’ve Ever Given,
Was the Life you Gave for Me.

Bravo! Excellent poem! I absolutely loved it. You said what every Christian should be saying and you're absolutely right when you wrote that you had nothing to give, but your life. This is a very good outlook for someone your age. I hope that you are attending church and are involved in a youth group at that church. So many teens do not get it, you would be a blessing with such viewpoints.
