Wings of The Faithful
By faith they had walked and went up
As declared in God’s perfect Word.
King Herod spoke of this with John
How his risen spirit went on …
Salvation –our most treasured cup
Go share the news; not all have heard.
Elijah went up to heaven
We study this in Second Kings.
Our gracious Lord lifted him free
So that others may clearly see,
The truth in II Kings two-eleven.
Ponder; the faithful in Christ have wings.

2 Kings 2 :11 And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.
Mark 6:14 And king Herod heard of him; (for his name was spread abroad:) and he said, That John the Baptist was risen from the dead, and therefore mighty works do shew forth themselves in him.
Hebrews 11 :5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
