When sadness grips the mind
And grief o’er whelms the soul
Feelings leap ahead
To hide the pain that’s there.
When all hope seems lost
And there is no reason to go on
Inner strength is found
On which the tears find rest.
When melancholy and confusion
Share one single domain
Joy and peace with grace
Override that troubling space.
It’s not hard to find contentment
When Peace and Joy surround you
And Goodness paired with Mercy
With wings of Love enfold you.
