Once, Twice …
Once born,
my life was lived
recklessly in vain,
empty
without gain.
Twice born,
My soul was healed.
Faith given by God,
Holy love
Revealed.
Once born,
I was a captive slave,
Sentenced to my
lifeless
grave.
Twice born,
Was God’s perfect way
For me to reach out
And pray…
For salvation.
Thank you, Abba Father.
1 Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed,
but of incorruptible, by the word of God,
which liveth and abideth for ever.
