Marriage
Whispering needs remind us of fleeting dreams
Unleashed on wings of desire,
While love's awakening most tenderly beckons.
Two shall become one.
Not so divinely simple upon hearing
In this call to death, despair.
Love's essence cannot be captured, nor freed,
When unbridled longing amid darkness
Flaunts weakness.
Lovers seek peace,
The forgotten grace of an earthen surrender,
And love begins anew,
When we gently embrace the light.
