Poetry
No boldness in this body,
No strength to call my own;
My full dependence on my God-
I willingly make known.
For-without my God-
I would be an empty shell,
There would be no life to fill me
No heart within me dwell.
All my gains would be so useless
They would be hollow victories
For the power of my God
Surpasses any human glories.
And all the prizes of this life
Never could compare
To the prize I’ll have in Jesus
When I meet Him in the air.
When I reside in heaven
With my Jesus and my God
My prize will be His face
And my body lose all flaw.
