"Very early in the morning, on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had risen. And they said among themselves, 'Who will roll away the stone from the door of the tomb for us?' But when they looked up, they saw that the stone had been rolled away--for it was very large." Mark 16:2-4 NKJV
You are probably familiar with this scripture, as Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome, went on the first day of the week, to anoint the body of Jesus. Of course this was after Jesus had been crucified and placed in the tomb....The women had not yet realized that Jesus had risen and was not still in the tomb.
We read in the scripture that there was a concern, because the stone was so large. The women were wondering who would roll the stone away, so they could fulfill their purpose for which they came. How many times do you try to figure out how you will accomplish something, because you are anticipating a problem? How many times have you talked about, and thought about the hindrance and stumbling block that you are assuming will be ahead of you?
God says, "I HAVE SET BEFORE YOU AN OPEN DOOR."
Stop worrying! When the women looked up the stone was already rolled away! Whatever you are concerned about, the stone has been rolled away! Whatever stumbling block you have been anticipating before you; look up and God will remove it. "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7NKJV
Stop worrying about things that are not there. Stop wasting time concerning yourself with issues and circumstances that only God can remove. Spend your time looking up, seeking God, thanking God and letting your requests be made known to Him. "With men it is impossible, but with God nothing is impossible."
The Word says, "casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you." I Peter 5:7 NKJV
Give it to God!!
God says, "I HAVE SET BEFORE YOU AN OPEN DOOR."
The enemy's job is to try to make us worry about a problem, that does not really exist; thereby causing our worrying to be the real stumbling block. When we worry and have fear, then we are not able to operate in faith. "...without faith it is impossible to please Him..." Hebrews 11:6a
"I know your works. See, I HAVE SET BEFORE YOU AN OPEN DOOR, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My Word, and have not denied My name." Reveleation 3:8
