A fruit plucked
Off my body.
The pain forgotten – only joy –

I watched him grow
I dared to dream…
Tiny faltering steps
He fell - and got up
Buried in my arms
I dared to dream again…
He walked away, from my bosom
Longing to hold him close…
'Twas his world
'Twas his life
My arms suddenly empty
Still longing to hold him close…
My doors wide open
My heart always praying…
My son, be wary of this world
My son, I'm always here for you
My hearth always warm
My heart – still praying for you…
