Sergius was working on some official business with Elymas when an aide walked into the room. The aide whispered into Sergius's ear and then walked out of the room. " The Jewish evangelists I wanted to talk to are here" Sergius said to Elymas.
" Like I warned you about earlier, stay away from these men" warned Elymas.
Sergius ignored his court advisor as the aide showed the three men into the court room. Barnabas, Paul and John Mark walked over and stood before Sergius who was sitting behind a table.
Paul looked over and saw Elymas sitting in a corner of the room with an evil look on his face. Paul said to Sergius " we were told that you wanted to meet with us".
