Repent While There Is Still Time
At death our flesh returns to the dust of the ground and our spirit returns to God.
According as to how we have lived God will either welcome our spirit into His heavenly kingdom or disown us as we disowned Him.
Those acceptable to God will spend eternity in His presence, while the unrepentant spirit will be cast into hell.
God loves the unrepentant spirit, but God cannot look upon unrepented sin, therefore the unrepentant sinner will be cast from His sight.
Death will hold no fear for the true believer, they look forward to spending eternity with God, but the lost of this world will resist death and curse the day that they were born.
The way of the cross is the road to eternal life, the way of the flesh is the way to eternal death, from which there is no return.
The choices that we make now concerning Jesus Christ will determine our eternal destiny, if we choose not to repent then our future is very grave indeed.
Love for Jesus Christ and self discipline can overcome fleshly desires and bring peace and contentment to the troubled soul.
Refusing to repent has only one end, losing ones place in the kingdom of God, it is not God's intention to cast our spirit into outer darkness, it is our decisions and choices that condemns ourselves to that fate.
To turn one's head from God and fall prey to the temptations of Satan spells disaster, Satan will not bother the sinner, but will go after those who resist him.
Resisting Satan is a matter of putting on the full armor of God and allowing God to prevail in our lives, where God's truths prevail Satan cannnot assail.
Repentance is a matter of putting God's will above our own, time is of the essence, for death comes when least expected, do not let it catch you unawares, repent while there is still time.
