Oh! To meet at Jesus’ shore
What joy shall fill us all;
To meet at Canaan’s glorious shore
And, feel His presence for evermore.

How long to reach that blessed day
Oh! How long, dear Jesus;
All worldly pains are washed away
Reposed in His loving arms.

Every tear is wiped away
Every sickness healed;
No more debts for us to pay
For He has paid them all.

No more darkness for us to fear
In presence of His divine light;
No more shall sin do us smear
For the Lamb has washed them all.

Oh Lord, forever to be with You
Forever, in Thy loving presence;
To walk with You, and talk with You
Grant it Master, to this sinful soul.
