God,
My God,
I need you.
You are awesome!
Draw me near to you
Teach me Your commandments.
Help me find strength in Your word.
Let Your spirit fill me with joy.
May Your purpose for my life be clear.
Take hold of my heart and show me Your ways.
My spirit longs to do Your will always,
Showing others the way to be saved.
Witnessing for you, with my life.
May Your mercy flow through me
As I serve those in need.
Guide my thoughts I pray.
Keep my heart pure.
Be my friend,
Most Holy
God.

Very nice, and I love how you made a pattern; from short to long to short. very interresting way to do it! But, the onlt thing that I have against it, is that not all of it really rhymed for a poem. But otherwise... really, really good! Well done!

You expressed the plea of all those who want to walk closer to the Lord in a creative, beautiful
way! This openess of heart should be the desire of each of us to search our hearts and pray such a plea! Thank you and God Bless!
