Poetry
CRY OF THE WILDERNESS
Walking and searching
I can't seem to find
My love that was precious
And holy and mine.
Battered, oppressed, driven by
The heat of mine adversary,
I cry for you my thirst,
My food, my strength,
My Lord!
Hearken my love
Least I am consumed.
Speak that I may hear
And follow after thy voice
That will lead me to
Safety.
