One spirit made me and gave me life,
he formed me from the dust of clay,
at night when I am deep asleep,
he visits me in dreams and visions,
many times I’m frightened be his warnings,
he corrects people by sending afflictions,
suddenly we begin to lose our appetite,
even the finest food looks revolting,
then he sends an angel to come to our aid,
in mercy he would forgive us our sins,
he had easier offered a ransom to set us free,
afterwards we grow young and strong again,
when we pray he’ll answer us,
he’ll set things right again for one,
he does all these things over and over again,
it is up to him to update our files,
while we go about this earthly business.
