What Say Ye?
The wonder of it all, that God
Could love us so
The unspeakable gift of His dear
And sinless Son,
His life's blood, payment for our
Ransom-
But this IS love...the sublime and
Cavernous love of God.
Such an extreme payment - enough to
Bankrupt the very vaults of heaven;
Yet, would we turn it aside; would
We mock or cajole at his lifeless body?
On a rugged hill,
With a blood-stained Cross, God
Staked the claim of His unsearchable,
Undeniable love for us.
What say ye, oh object of divine desire?
