O! Twinkling little stars of the great blue arc.
Up ‘n’ above at the upper horizon,
You always emerge.
In the stillness of the night,
You dazzle in your millions.
Greater is your luminance,
That drives away the crazy night darkness.
And, O! I just wish I were like you,
Little bright stars.
I envy you,
When I look up to the sky each night.
Seeing you so nigh to,
And surrounding the great moon.
What exactly did the moon gave you,
That makes you shun the boiling sun of the day?
You opt to dance with the moon all times,
And disappear when the sun appears.
Maybe I shall write you a letter some day,
Please do reply to it.
I just need a hint or two from you,
For your good relationship with the big moon.
So I can do likewise with my Lord God,
Who is also up there.
To live in good relationship with him,
And follow Jesus’ footsteps at all times.
For now, it’s goodbye little dazzling stars,
But I will not sleep tonight.
I’ll remain seated outside in the chilly night,
Till I get to the bottom of the matter.
Even if I freeze up,
I’ll gaze at you shining with your moon.
Till I get a bit of a lead,
For the strength of your good association with the moon.
