Can a marriage that’s filled with nothing but distrust & despair last?
When there is nothing left but the disagreements, miscommunication, and lack of concern.

Can a marriage be saved?
When one loves the other enough to give their life,
And the other only offers continual pain & strife.

Can a marriage last when the one-time love affair becomes only a memory
Or sometimes just a whisper in the passing air.
When there was once an I do,
Now there is only and I won’t!

Can a marriage be saved without trust in God?
Will you submit unto me even when I say I don’t.
I don’t want to see you,
I don’t want to be with you,
I don’t want to know you,
And I don’t love you.

Yes, any marriage can be saved if you believe in Christ.
Yes, he is the Way, the Truth, and the Light.
Only he can heal the pain.
Only he can stop the continual rain.

Christ has felt your pain.
He only knows how much more, through it you will gain.
If you lay your burdens down at the foot of the cross he once was hanged.
He will resurrect the love for which he was slain.

All you must do is believe, and through your Faith he will lead.
Lead you to a love like no other, more powerful than your love for your own sisters & brothers.
Through Christ you have been redeemed. All you must do is chose to be on his team.

Can this marriage be saved?
Why yes when the trumpeter plays.
If you have confessed with your mouth and you believe in your heart,
that for you his life Christ gave.
Even though you have broken his heart, And yet though he did lay in his grave,
On day three he yet again came, to show you he still loves you,
and only ask you to do the same.
