God has given me a ‘word’ for the body of Christ in this hour of the Church but before I release it, I want to share a couple of Scriptures and lay a little foundation for it.

1 John 4:4, “You are of God little children and have OVERcome them: because GREATER is He who is in you than he who is in the world.”

THE COMPLETE PROCESS:

So often we forget about this Scripture in the little but powerful book of First John. Sometimes, we even quote it when in the presence of fellow believers because it sounds good. But the question is, do you believe what you’re saying? Do you understand Who the ‘Greater’ One is that lives in you if you’re a born again, blood purchased child of God? A majority of believer’s has little concept of just Who abides within their human spirit.

He is the awesome Spirit of the living God. He is the Spirit of the Son, Jesus Christ. He is the resurrection power of almighty God. He is the Anointing, that dunamis, miraculous power who abides in your human spirit and Who made you a new creation in Christ Jesus. He is the third Person of the Holy Trinity. In the dynamic workings of the Holy Trinity, God, the Father has the thought, the Son, Jesus speaks it and the Holy Spirit, the power source takes the word and brings it to completion.

You only have to look at the book of beginnings, Genesis one to see the process of the Holy Trinity in action. From the time the Father releases the thought, the Son speaks it forth and the Holy Spirit brings it into manifestation. “Let there be light, and there was light” (Gen.1:3). You have a completed process.

When we look in the Scripture’s and we see the Bible referring to “three days” you have to remember that it means a process in its completed state. As children of God, we’re each going through the process of becoming who we were called of God to be. We’re all at different phases in our journey with Jesus but nevertheless, we’re all going through the same process. We’re all a spiritual creation in progress going through a divinely ordered process.

Right before Jesus went to the cross to be crucified, He made this statement: “Destroy this temple and I will raise it up in ‘three days’ (John 2:19). The Pharisees thought He was talking about a natural building but Jesus was, in fact, talking about Himself. He was talking about the process of death, burial, and resurrection He was about to go through on the cross of Calvary. On the ‘first’ day was the death. On the ‘second’ day was the burial. On the ‘third’ day was the resurrection when Jesus was raised from the dead by the glory of God, the Father. Hallelujah to the Lord of glory!

GET PREPARED FOR WAR:

When Jesus spoke of Himself being raised from the dead, He was prophesying about what was to come. It had already been spoken by the old sages; the prophets like Isaiah chapter 53. And speaking of prophetic happenings, this brings me once again to talk about the completed process we find in ‘three days.’ The apostle Peter wrote in II Peter 3:8, “But beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.”

Prophetically, the Church has entered into the third day. There has been a shifting in the heavenlies. There has been a shifting from the old to the new that has come to the body of Christ as the Lord has been preparing the Church to step-over into the ‘Greater’ things of God. We’re in place now as we’ve entered into this third day.

I want to look in Joshua 1:11 that says, and this is Joshua speaking, “Pass through the host, and command the people, saying, PREPARE you VICTUALS (food); for within THREE DAYS you shall pass (step) over this Jordan, to go in to possess (to take over as your own) the land, which the Lord your God gives you to possess it.”

The first important word here in this Scripture is, ‘prepare.’ This word means, “to make ready, to equip, the state of being prepared, especially for combat.”

How were the people supposed to prepare themselves for the stepping over the Jordan? They were told to prepare food for the journey. This was true in the natural but its also true for the spiritual journey you and I are on as we make ready to step over our Jordan in this third day. If you continue to read the book of Joshua, you’ll see that when they got over the Jordan, they were going to have to be combat ready.

They were going to have to be equipped and prepared for war because they were about to be face to face with enemies who would try to keep them from possessing their God-given land. They were going to have to be full of something other than natural food that would only give them natural strength. They would need supernatural strength that only the provision of God’s food, otherwise known as His Word, could give them. If you and I expect to defeat the enemies we’ll be facing once we step-over into the greater things of God---over our Jordan, we’re going to have to be full of the word of God in order to be able to defeat the enemy. No word = no faith. No word and no faith = defeat.

Also, if you notice, Joshua said, tell them that in THREE DAYS, they’re going to pass (step) over into Jordan. This speaks of a time period. A time to prepare and make yourself ready for the third day. And so, like the Israelite’s, we’ve been preparing for this moment when we would finally be able to pass (step) over our Jordan and into our land of promise from God. Are we there yet? Well, lets see now what the Lord has to say to us through His Rhema Word.

STEP-OVER:

As I’ve ministered the Word of God on radio for the last few weeks, I’ve been saying to God’s people from out of my spirit, “You’re not going under, you’re going over to victory!”

A few days ago, the Lord said, “Tell My people again that they’re not going under but they’re going over. They’re going to step-OVER everything that stands in their way of obtaining victory. The seemingly impossible is becoming the possible for you to take possession of.

A lot of My people are standing at the threshold, trying to decide if they should take this next step. Take that step. Step-over into greatness. Step-over into a greater release of freedom. A greater release of joy, peace, financial provision, greater exploits for the Kingdom of God. Step on over into your calling and destiny.

The hour has come. Now is the moment. Now is the time to step-over into a greater anointing. (Now faith is...) Dare to let your faith loose to believe for what you’ve thought was impossible, unchangeable and immovable. I am releasing an anointing to enable you to step-over into the greater things of God.

When you bind up your faith, you bind up heaven from moving profusely on your behalf. At best, you only receive a trickle of blessings because the floodgates of blessings are bound up.”

Matthew 18:18, “Verily, verily I say unto you, whatsoever you shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”

You only receive a trickle because of your unbelief. Believing that although I’m all-powerful and can do all things, you don’t believe I will move on your behalf. The faith you loose on earth will loose the floodgates of favor and blessings and from the open windows of heaven, it will fall upon you like the early and latter rain.”

CONCLUSION:

Of course, there is much more that can be said but I’ll conclude with this one thing for all of us who profess to be Spirit-filled children of almighty God. The question might be asked, how do we bind our faith and therefore bind up heaven from moving on our behalf?

Remember in the 6th chapter of Mark, the Bible says this after Jesus went back to His hometown. Chapter 5, verse 5-6, “And He could there (in Nazareth) do no mighty work, save that He laid His hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them. 6-And He marveled BECAUSE of their UNBELIEF. And He went round about the villages, teaching.”

What’s the cure for unbelief? Faith. So, you can understand that this is what Jesus went around the villages teaching the people. When we express fear and unbelief, Jesus can do no mighty works in our lives, except for a little bit here and a little bit there. So, what's the cure for our fear and unbelief? Mark 11:22, “Have faith in God.” That's the first thing and then, “So then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the (rhema) word of God” (Romans 10:17). We must get prepared if we’re not already, to STEP-OVER our Jordan and into the land of promise from God, our Father.
