Now the devil will try hard to find us,
but God knows where we're at
Aren't you glad God sees us, as big thing
while as the devil sees us as a mat

God's clouds are like white soft pillows
where our heads can lay and hide
And his wings can surround our little place
where his love does reside

He will visit us in that secret place
for in there it dwells his peace
What a comfort to know we have a place to go
when we need the wars to cease

O' his mercy for us is like a big blanket
that covers us from head to toe
Oh how great to all, is his love and kindness
when life's strong winds do blow

We don't have to fear for he's always near
to send help along the way
That is even while in the torrid rains
there still lies a better day

Sometimes it's like our bodies goes in a trance
in other words, it just goes to sleep
After being shut down, and all strung out
but, thank God our soul he does keep

So whenever we feel despondent at times
a little knock will come at our door
And the Lord will enter in our secret place
and let his word of power downpour
