I’ve seen a baby, as small as my hand
Cling to the life you gave to him
The doctor’s said they may not be a chance
And even if there were, things might not be right
I see a boy who once as small as my hand
I see him and he is just like the other little boys
Lord, I look at him and I see the miracle of You

I saw my grandmother, when her body began to fail
I saw when the pain wouldn’t go away
I saw when she couldn’t move her legs
Even through her pain she still loved each day she had
Lord, you gave her strength when her body was weak
Lord, I looked at her, and I still see the miracle of You

I’ve seen a man, who faced
The same illness that took his young son’s life
I’ve seen him feel like there was nothing left to hold on to
I’ve seen how angry and hurt he has been
No parent should have to know how their sick child suffered
Lord, I look at him, and he needs the miracle of You

Bad things happen
There’s nothing we can do
Bad things happen
Lord, but that’s why we have You

You too, had the loss of a Son
You too, have watched a loved One suffer
You too, saw when it didn’t seem like there was a chance
Lord, for all the things You do for Love
Lord, I look to You, I thank You, for the miracle of You.
