Grief
he's gone to a place
where he can pick daisies all day long-
a place where nothing is ever
the way he was before he died
He's going to a place,
i hope,
where he can meet god
and see his face
but will he want to see,
knowing that seeing would mean
that he would have to believe
in things like jesus and prophets,
and all of the other things that he scoffed
before he turned over.
Would he be comfortable knowing-
not just believing-
that god is finally good in his eyes?
