Poetry
One Gift
by Dan Blankenship
Imagine there was only one gift
A lone gesture worth everything
And picture how great it would need to be
To encompass all of humanity
Now think of the cross that’s bare
And the man who came down from there
To lead a revolution without war
To make sure the veil was tore
His sacrifice is a constant event
As more children learn why He was sent
And begin to understand
The importance of that one true gift
