Seek the Lord while He be found,
Call on Him while He is near;
Listen close for the voice of His sound,
Then show that you love and revere,

Let the wicked forsake his way,
The unrighteous man of his thought;
Let them return and not to stray,
Unto the Lord no longer fraught.

God may have compassion on him.
For He will abundantly pardon;
Be joyous no more feeling grim,
Not to let their heart be harden.

For His thoughts are not always theirs,
Neither His ways would be their way;
But the mercy and grace He shares,
Are as to what the Lord declares.

As Heaven is higher that earth,
So are His ways higher than theirs;
Because His thoughts have much more worth,
His compassion shows that He cares.
