She's a beautiful bride, stripped of pride
Clothed with humility, serving the King of glory
Burning with desire for God, a consuming fire
Waiting for His return, she cries and yearns
She fuels her passion with His compassion
Many are yet to know, many are not ready
She must tell them, the Bridegroom is coming
Prepare to meet Him, the Lamb who was slain
Believe in Him, His blood washes away sin
Woe to you who have no wedding garment
She begs you to repent, hear her soul's lament
Matthew 22:11-13, “But when the king came in to see the guests, he saw a man there who did not have on a wedding garment. So he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here without a wedding garment?’ And he was speechless. Then the king said to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’"

This poem captures the Bride's urgent longing for the Bridegroom with passion and clarity. The imagery of being stripped of pride and clothed in humility is striking and biblical.
For the middle section, the call to those without a wedding garment is strong; tightening the rhyme in a couple of lines could enhance the poetic impact for Challenge-level readers.
A moving lament that points others to repentance and readiness. Well done.
