Regardless of how long you have believed in God. Your security in the Lord might still be in questions sometimes especially when troubles strike. We grow in faith over time not right away after our confession to receive Him as our Lord. Our faith will be tested as well. Above all else, we need to truly believe and know how much God does love us. Yes, truly believe in His love for you. You will actually know how much you do believe His love when troubles strike or when testing times come. You will know your own heart by the way how you pray to God and your reaction to God. 

I have heard myself arguing with the Lord, reasoning with the Lord, demanding Him to answer my prayers. How about you?

This is one of the ways to find out our 'heart condition', what we actually think about God, how we actually see God. 

Do you see God is surrounding you in the midst of your trouble times? He is calming you with His peace in your storm? Or do you feel that He has left you in the storm? You alone are struggling and trying to survive? Do you still believe what God promised you, that He will never leave you nor forsake you? Or have you forgotten His promises to you because of your circumstances?

Are you secured in the love of God? Why not? What makes you feel so insecure right now? 

God has always been 'constant' and 'faithful'. He cannot lie. Never. How about us? We are human, surely we can lie, surely we can be unfaithful. 

Brothers and sisters, we need to guard our hearts and guard our thoughts. Do not be deceived by the father of lies (Satan) about how much God does love you. Take the time - Soak into His love for you. Listen to His words in the Bible, get yourself familiarise with the promises of God, don't let situations or circumstances to blur your vision of God's love to you. Always remind yourself that you belong to God now, You are His precious child now. He is your God and You are His people - It is certain, never-changing fact for all those who have confessed their belief in the Lord. Do not give in to the lies. 

Spend more time in the Word of God, let His truths take you to His place of safety. He is your place of safety, my friends. He is your place of safety. You will be saved in His love. You will be covered by His shed blood for you. 

Let the love of God fills all your heart and mind today. Call out to Him for help. Draw closer to Him today. God bless you.
