WHO IS MY NEIGHBOR?
Someone asked God just after the creation of the world, "Am I my brother's keeper?" Another asked the same question early when Jesus Christ came to reclaim, recover or redeem the beautiful world that Satan the thief, killer, and destroyer had messed up, "Who is my neighbor?"

Today, we're not going to ask anyone, because, the answer is not hidden, but a glance away at our neighborhood!

Luke.10.27 ,29.
"'You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength, and all your mind.' And, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'" The man wanted to justify his actions, so he asked Jesus, "And who is my neighbor?"

EVERYONE! ..... including your enemies.

Psalm 82.3
Defend the poor and fatherless; Do justice to the afflicted and needy.

Isaiah 1.17
Learn to do good; Seek justice, Rebuke the oppressor; Defend the fatherless, Plead for the widow.

Matthew 25.34 -40
Then the King will say to those on the right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.

For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home.

I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.'

"Then these righteous ones will reply, 'Lord, when did we ever see you hungry and feed you? Or thirsty and give you something to drink?

Or a stranger and show you hospitality? Or naked and give you clothing?

When did we ever see you sick or in prison, and visit you?'

And the King will tell them, 'I assure you, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!'

Psalm 146.5 -10
But happy are those who have the God of Israel as their helper, whose hope is in the LORD their God.

He is the one who made heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them. He is the one who keeps every promise forever, who gives justice to the oppressed and food to the hungry. The LORD frees the prisoners.

The LORD opens the eyes of the blind. The LORD lifts the burdens of those bent beneath their loads. The LORD loves the righteous.

The LORD protects the foreigners among us. He cares for the orphans and widows, but he frustrates the plans of the wicked.

The LORD will reign forever. O Jerusalem, your God is King in every generation! Praise the LORD!
