Poetry

Return to the Lord your God,
You fell from iniquity;
Showing Him honor and laud,
In having humility.

Take with you words and return,
Plea to take all transgression;
Accept what is good to learn,
Vow from your lips confession.

To the work of our hands,
In God that I find mercy;
Following of His commands,
Allowing my eyes to see.

The orphans find compassion,
He heals their apostasy;
Love you freely in fashion,
His wrath turns from to flee.

I shall be the same as dew,
He shall grow as the lily;
His roots shall then pursue,
Deep in the ground so boldly.

His branches shall then spread out,
His beauty be like the tree;
Confidence without a doubt,
His fragrance from His decree.

They shall dwell in His shadow,
They shall flourish like the vine;
By the stream the waters flow,
Their fame shall be like the wine.
