WILLING AND OBEDIENT.
Being willing and obedient are not only two important words, but inevitable combination of two important actions. To be willing is a deliberate yielding of the HEART and mind in agreement to God's will. Ready and prepared to follow through.
While being obedient is a deliberate, positive, PHYSICAL action in agreement with God's command in practical terms. Any one of these two actions not executed correctly could deprive us of ABSOLUTE OBEDIENCE and so could actually hinder us from receiving God's best in our work and walk with Him.
Isaiah 1.19
If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good (best) from the land;
We must always watch out for and examine both conditions and then get them right through prayer. Being willing is a condition of the heart and mind devoid of grumbling and complaining while obeying and fulfilling our part. Anything short of that won't fly with God.
On the other hand, we could be delighted and passionate about God's command, but forgetful , too lazy, reluctant or afraid to execute it. We want to and are glad to, but won't or didn't do it or follow through
We all strive to set our hearts right to be willing, and also endeavor to take prompt action in obedience to God's will and Word always.
When we discipline our hearts to be consistently WILLING and OBEDIENT, we will inevitably and consistently walk in divine wisdom before God and in the affairs of life. Our attitude, and personally will witness continuous pruning and perfection by divine influence. And then we will experience continuing divine defense and protection, dwelling in God's secret place. Our steps are ordered by the presence of Almighty God flooded with divine favor and love. Then the peace of God that transcends all understanding and natural definition shall keep your hearts and mind in Christ Jesus.
