GOD IS GENEROUS!
The Lord Almighty is a passionate LOVER and a very generous GIVER when He sees a selfless, faithful and absolutely obedient worshiper! But, too many of us seem to be wiser than the all-wise, all-knowing, omniscient God.
What foolishness!
We're like angels on Sundays but neck deep in sin all week! We seek God only when in need, but not committed to His work of meeting needs! Always praying give me, give me, and never asking the Lord of the harvest, ' what would You have me do today?'
Remember, its our Obedience and Willingness to serve that move God and not JUST fasting and praying!
Surely, fasting and praying are very important, since they enable our selfish, rebellious and proud flesh to die and become as willing as our recreated spirit man.
ONLY OBEDIENT SAINTS CAN SUBDUE DISOBEDIENT DEVILS IN ORDER TO POSSESS THE INHERITANCE!
2 Corinthians 10:3-4.
We are human, but we don't wage war with human plans and methods.
We use God's mighty weapons, not mere worldly weapons, to knock down the Devil's strongholds.
Jesus said, if we would obediently seek God's Kingdom and its righteousness FIRST, then healing, blessings, peace, breakthroughs would flow to us!
Luke 12:30-31.
These things dominate the thoughts of most people, but your Father already knows your needs.
He will give you ALL YOU NEED from day to day IF YOU MAKE THE KINGDOM OF GOD YOUR PRIMARY CONCERN.
With this understanding, we would die fast to our selfish, sinful nature and so advance very fast in life and ministry, and then be certain of a highly fruitful eternal life.
THE COST AND BENEFIT OF ABSOLUTE OBEDIENCE!
When Jesus Christ left His home in Heaven and came on Earth to please the Father, He suffered insults, rejection and humiliation. However, He endured the Cross and finished gloriously!
Going wherever God sends you, doing and saying whatever He tells you will not always be a walk in the park, exciting, honorable, dignifying or famous. But, would ultimately be eternally glorifying, because God is pleased first, irrespective of whatever we suffered to get His will done, and a great, glorious reward and promotion awaits us ALWAYS. Hallelujah!
Philippians 2:3-11.
Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.
In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:
Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
The act or proof of obedience is to do whatever God tells us, that is scriptural. When we start praying, God begins to help us by instructing us on specifics. Prompt, absolute and sacrificial, wholehearted obedience is required. THE BEST AND ONLY PATHWAY TO THE BREAKTHROUGH. Hallelujah!
Jeremiah 7:22,23; Deuteronomy 28:1-14.
Prompt, absolute obedience is superior to our fervent prayers, fasting and whatever sacrifices. Truth is, these sacrifices are intended by God to help us OBEY HIM absolutely!
Jeremiah 7:22-23.
When I led your ancestors out of Egypt, it was not burnt offerings and sacrifices I wanted from them. This is what I told them: `Obey me, and I will be your God, and you will be my people. Only do as I say, and all will be well!'
