Caught Nothing
After Jesus had risen from the dead, some of his disciples decided to go fishing one night. They caught nothing.
In the morning when they got back to the shore, Jesus was standing there but they didn’t recognise him.
However, Jesus told them to cast their net into the sea again and they caught loads of fish!
Wonderful contrast!
On their own initiative – nothing.
Obeying Jesus’ command – plenty!
Something I need to learn from that.
Read about it in John chapter 21.

Thank you for the reminder that we can do nothing without Him. It is the Father's will that we bear much fruit, fruit that will remain. Therefore, we must stay in the Vine. Lest we become that branch that is severed, which eventually withers and dies. I am gleaning from John 15. How beautiful it is to sit at my Saviour's feet. ????

Thank you for your ministry of encouragement, from which I benefited as I went through a very challenging season. Continue to use your gifts to be a blessing. Happy New Year!

We must always remember that on our own we can accomplish nothing. We must trust in and obey the Lord. Thanks for the share.
