Scripture:

"We live by faith, not by sight." – 2 Corinthians 5:7 (NIV)

Feelings are real, but they’re not always reliable. They fluctuate with circumstances—joy when life is smooth, fear when storms rise, doubt when things go quiet. But faith anchors us beyond emotions. It holds us to truth when our hearts waver.

Jesus never promised we'd always feel strong, confident, or joyful. He called us to believe even when we don’t see or feel it. Faith isn’t denying feelings—it’s choosing God’s Word above them.

When fear rises, faith says, "God is with me."

When sadness lingers, faith whispers, "Joy comes in the morning."

When uncertainty clouds the path, faith steps forward, trusting God is leading.

Your feelings are not your foundation. Christ is.

Reflection:

What truth from God’s Word do you need to stand on today, no matter how you feel?

Prayer:

Lord, help me to trust You even when my emotions try to lead me away from truth. Strengthen my faith to stand firm, not on what I feel, but on who You are. Amen.
